As a professional dancer, and cheerleading coach, my body and health has to be in top condition. Unfortunately, due to a bacterial infection in my blood a few years ago I became very ill. I was hospitalised and lost the use of my legs for a while. I was devastated. During my long and painful recovery I went back home where my parents looked after me, but I was still in a great deal of pain with my back. I struggled to teach and was devastated as this was my career and also my passion.

I was then introduced to Dr Jacobs at the Liverpool Back Clinic, a Doctor who my father had seen on a previous visit due to a back complaint he had himself. I went along with my mum to the clinic, and had my first appointment. Dr Jacobs was wonderful, she made me feel so comfortable and at ease in the clinic. She explained everything in detail that she was going to do in the session. The session lasted for one hour and I can honestly say at the end I definitely felt some release of pain. Since that appointment I have been back to the clinic for four more sessions and I feel fantastic! I am back teaching cheerleading and dance and haven’t felt better. I still go to the Back Clinic to see Dr Jacobs every couple of months just to keep on top of things.

All I can say is thank you, and I would definitely recommend Dr Jacobs to all my family and friends.
